Dare to Grow Up follows three characters from different family with different personalities -- outstanding students, artistic girls, and mannered girls. Recording their 8 years growth, showcasing how they managed to think independently, cast off the yoke of the original family, balance the ideal and reality, and eventually found their self-worth.

Zhang Lin, graduated from Tsinghua University in 2012.As the Assistant Director & Chief Editor of Feiyu Show, a documentary film released in 5 major cities of China in 2014;Won the "Best Documentary Film Editing Award " of the 2015 Chengdu Editing Arts Golden Sand Award.;Acted as the director of documentary Dare to Grow Up since 2014, which was shortlisted in The "China Story" pitch conference of Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival (GZDOC 2019), the final award of CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF10), and the "Best Content" Award of Busan Contents Market (BCM) Global Pitching.
