She is responsible for the production for CCTV-9 programs. In recent years, she has mainly focused on documentaries with themes such as nature, science, and adventure. The documentaries she has developed, produced and broadcast reached a total duration of nearly a thousand hours. Liu has won multiple awards including Five One Project Awards, China TV Golden Eagle Award, Starlight Award, Radio and TV Award, Gold Panda Award, Golden Kapok Award, the Top Ten National Documentaries, Academy Awards of Documentary Film, etc.
