Han Lei is the producer, art supervisor and editing director of MIDA Director Program of Documentary Channel, Shanghai Media Group. She has been engaged in documentary production for 30 years. Her works have won several awards of documentary directing and scriptwriting, and have been selected for Shanghai International Film Festival and SIFF China Day Screening Section for many times. Besides, Han Lei produced a documentary for Discovery, which has won the Best Documentary Feature of Asian Television Awards.

Currently, Han Lei is responsible for co-producing documentary projects. She is the producer, art supervisor and editing director of Yuguo and His Mother, Cloudy Mountain, Noodle Kid, Cotton, etc., which have won awards in Yamagata International Documentary Festival, Dok Leipzig and Animation Festival, Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, Golden Horse Awards and many other international film festivals
