Hélène Ganichaud is the Deputy Head of the Specialist Factual Unit at ARTE France. She commissions natural history, history science, adventure and human interest programs. Before that, she was a London-based freelance producer, writer and director for more than 10 years working mostly for the BBC in-house specialist factual unit. Her credits include: 700 Sharks for ARTE and National Geographic, Okavango: River of Dreams for Arte and PBS, Forces of Nature for BBC1, and Animal Fight Night for National Geographic.
