Graduated from the Ibero-American University in literature, Alfonso Hurtado began working as an editor at various newspapers. Also, he is a Latin American research fellow at SEGIB in Madrid.

Since 2009, he has produced and developed content for different series and programs at Canal Once and Canal 22, especially documentaries, culture, sports, history and children's modules. He has produced many series with channels around the world through Latin American Television (TAL). Furthermore, Alfonso is a professor of production at the Film Training Center (CCC).
