As Head of Original Content, Canadian Media for Blue Ant Media, Sam brings over 25 years of commissioning and production expertise to the media company's eight Canadian specialty television channels including Cottage Life, T+E, Makeful, Smithsonian Canada and BBC Earth Canada.

In her role, Sam has overseen original series such as Paranormal Survivor, Brojects, Lake Docks & Decks and Crazy Beautiful Weddings. Her former roles include Director of programming for Discovery Canada and Animal Planet, in addition to SVP of Factual for Cineflix Productions where she executively produced series such as May Day, Final 24 and others.
