Co-produced by Xigua, China Intercontinental Communication Center and Yunji Media Co, Ltd, "A Cycling Diary in China" is a film that shows the great achievements and progress of China's reform and opening up through the telling of personal stories. The film documented the journey of Peter Crosby, a former National Geographic photojournalist, writer and cyclist, as he travels through China twice after 27 years, providing a realistic portrayal of the development of Chinese society, giving viewers a better understanding of the country's changes, while allowing Chinese culture to be better perpetuated.
Film Creator
Jiameng Li, a senior documentary director in Chin, has worked for China Business Network and Documentary Channel of Shanghai Media Group in the creation of programmes. Her main works include the large-scale outdoor adventure reality show "Survivor Games" and "Absolute Wild”. Her documentary works include the 10-episode documentary "One Strange Rock", co-produced with the National Geographic channel, the food documentary "Great Meal" and the commercial custom documentary "Beautiful Roads For Better Life". She has won many important awards locally and overseas, including the Rockie Award at the Banff International Television Festival in Canada and the Best Documentary Series at the China Documentary Academy Awards.
