Dong Yan is born in 1964, Manchu, member of Communist Party of China, Senior Editor.Graduated from Communication University of China, majoring in Television Editing, he is currently the deputy chief of Program Department of The Social and Education Program Center of the China Media GroupMedia Group. During his career of 33 years, he has created more than 30 major documentaries and feature programs, including Confucius, Deng Xiaoping in 100 Years, Pulse of the Nation, The Flag, Big Luyi, Great Three Gorges Project, the Hong kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge,Making A New China, The Memory of China, Traditional Chinese Residences, together with the first 3D movie Pulse of the Nation, and documentary movie the Hong kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. Among them, 6 productions have been broadcast in western mainstream media.Yan Dong’s productions have won the Five Top Awards for 9 times of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, won outstanding documentary in China Golden Eagle TV Art Festival for 5 times, and multiple governmental awards from SARFT and Starlight Awards.
