Gunnar Hall Jensen was educated at the University of Bergen, majoring in cultural communication. He has made a number of TV series, in addition to short films, commercials and commissioned films. His first feature film "Gunnar Goes Comfortable" premiered in 2003, and was selected for competition at several festivals, including IDFA and AFI Silverdocs. In 2011 he directed the sequel "Gunnar Goes God" and in 2014 the more experimental documentary "A Cup of Tea".
