Wang Tiancheng and his family came to Wuhan, the largest city in Central China to make a living by setting up a fruit stall on the sidewalk at Lumo. His son lost his right hand, his wife has been suffering from cancer, while he himself has been troubled by stroke. The family lived on the street for 14 years, during which they advanced or retreated depending on the moves made by urban management officers.
