The new building employs a design concept of “jewel box”, adopting a unique structure system, large span overhang steel trusses with suspension floor. The total weight of the entire steel truss of the huge roof reaches 8700 tons, which is the heaviest of this kind of project. Because the exhibition hall is constructed by the huge steel trusses with no single structure column inside, there is great advantage for exhibition.
