What are popular Chinese stories? A stereotypical answer would be the Great Wall,Forbidden City, and the Terra Cotta Warriors. 

After years of rapid growth, the country has been a golden mine for documentary filmmakers around the world to discover fascinating, extraordinary, and breathtaking stories.

GZDOC2018 is now recruiting Chinese Story for the global market. Filmmakers that have creative China story ideas are encouraged to participate the pitching session, and no limit is set for their projects’ formats and contents. Topics such as Science, Wild Life and Natural History, Culture and Arts, Human Interest, History and Society are all welcome. For now, creativity is the only standard. The submission deadline is 20^th September, 2018.

The China Story International Pitching Session will be held from 10^th to 13^th December this year at Guangzhou Library.
